Alien Buddies and Marble Math Junior - Back to School App Sale
August 10, 2012 in Education
[prMac.com] Pleasantville, New York - Artgig Apps is pleased to offer two of their popular kids educational apps, Alien Buddies (ages 3-6), and Marble Math Junior (ages 5-8), on sale for only 99 cents each (normally $1.99), Friday August 10 through Sunday, August 12, as part of a special Back to School promotion with Moms With Apps, a group of family-friendly developers.
A 2012 Parents' Choice Award winner, the Foundation says, "The Alien Buddies App is an adorable iOS game platform for young children to learn about colors, shapes, letters and numbers." Children choose from a variety of Matching, Puzzle, Dot to Dot and Stickers activities to build basic skills with the help of their alien friends.
Famigo says Marble Math Junior "...delivers math content in one of the most engaging ways we've seen yet." Based on the Common Core curriculum, Marble Math Junior helps reinforce strategy and problem solving skills as players roll their marble through a math maze to collect answers while avoiding obstacles. A recent update adds multi-user accounts that allow players to create individual profiles, each with customizable avatars, skills, and game options, and includes a personal game history - all on the same device.
"Being parents ourselves, we know that it can be tough to get kids back into school mode at the end of an action-packed summer" says Matthew Kicinski, President of Artgig Apps. "Marble Math Junior and Alien Buddies are fun ways to reacquaint kids with concepts they've been learning (and maybe even introduce them to a few new ones) as the school year starts."
