CG Cookie, Inc Announces iOS mobile game Eat Sheep for iPad

[prMac.com] Geneva, Illinois - CG Cookie, Inc today is pleased to announce its first internal studio game project called Eat Sheep for the iPad. Other devices and OS are in development. Eat Sheep is built with the Unity Game engine and all 3D assets were created using Blender. An open source 3D application.
Eat Sheep is a top down puzzle/strategy game for iOS iPad devices. Navigate your monster around the levels in Eat Sheep while reducing the world's sheep population. You do this by consuming Sheep, Rams, and Mammoth hybrids! The player gains wool throughout the game which you are able to unlock new monsters, upgrade their abilities and trade wool for cookies which the monster can perform their special ability.
Wool may be purchased with real world money to advance the player at a faster rate.
Game Story:
Sheep were bred at record rates in the early 60's after a direct relationship was realized between getting a good night sleep and the amount of sheep in the world.
With the ability to count sheep into the thousands people were getting more sleep then they could ever dream of. Sheep were bred and bred strong. Many sheep had to survive in the desert, winter tundra, and in farms around the world. Basically anywhere there was room, sheep were bred.
Unfortunately this has gotten out of control and there is now an over abundance of sheep, endangering productivity of humanity. This has also provided a surplus of warm wool sweater and blankets. As every wants to be warm while they sleep.
To help fight this epidemic of Sheep, Monsters have been released into the wild to reduce the sheep population in a last ditch effort by local secret organizations. Of course monsters need to eat sheep to stay awake themselves.
Though some evil sheep wranglers from around the world, which have benefited from the over population, are determined to stop the monsters from eating the sheep.
