[prMac.com] Santa Clara, California - Mobile smart phones are changing the way we live, socialize and do our businesses. Our phones have replaced many other once-common tools, from GPS devices to handheld gaming consoles, notebooks, calendars, point-and-shoot cameras, newspapers and portable audio players.
At a local technology event in Santa Clara, Nexscience, a California based startup, announced the release of a new mobile application called Files Access Anywhere. Designed for individuals and small businesses, the app is the latest in a series of innovative ideas introduced to the Apple users by the developer community.
The new app released for iPhone and iPad allows users to access their files on Dropbox, Google Docs, Microsoft Sky Drive, FTP Servers and file systems on Remote Computers through a simplified and easy-to-use mobile interface.
The app allows users to view, share and manage photos, documents and other files regardless of the files' physical location. Whether it happens to be a picture slideshow from your computer or a resume saved in your Dropbox account, a technical manual residing at your office FTP server or a business presentation secured within your company's VPN; Files Access Anywhere presents the ultimate flexibility in file retrieval, download and sharing - all this coupled with the inherent advantage of avoiding multiple logins or using multiple apps for different file systems.
Users can drag & drop files, view pictures, videos or documents in landscape or portrait mode or even connect to an external display or Apple TV and enjoy the full screen view of files or make impressive presentation during an office meeting.
"Mobile Smart Phones have the potential to change the way we live our lives," said Faisal Faruqi, CTO for Nexscience and an Industry veteran. "With more and more computing power and rich hardware capability in smart phones, the innovation in applications is taking the benefits of mobile technology directly to common users"
