Everyday 1.1 for Mac OS X - Shoot and Save a New Self-Portrait Everyday
October 8, 2012 in Software
[prMac.com] Novosibirsk, Russian Federation - Alice Dev Team today is pleased to announce Everyday 1.1 for Mac OS X, an update to their lifestyle app that reminds users to take a new picture of themselves, snaps the photo, and saves all daily photos in a photo album. Ideal for documenting looks and moods over time, the app can display photos rapidly as a time-lapse movie. Everyday allows users to set up photo reminders for any time of day, with intervals of one, two, or three days. The photo window displays oval eye-guides, so users can create perfectly sized and centered photos day after day.
* Send yourself a regularly scheduled notification to take a self-portrait
* The photo window activates your built-in or USB camera, and provides eye-guides
* Snap the picture whenever you are ready
* View individual photos or create a time-lapse movie that compresses months into a few minutes
From the Preferences panel, users can set their recurring reminder for any hour of the day, and set intervals of one, two, or three days. Launching the app, the photo window allows Mac owners to view themselves, align their eyes inside the two oval guides, and then snap a photo whenever they like. All photos are automatically stored in the app's Photo Library, and can be viewed as an album. Everyday also includes a time-lapse feature, creating a movie of photos. For example, 100 photos from the past year can be viewed as a 90-second movie. The resulting video will bring a smile to the face of everyone who views it.
"Use your Photo Album contents to make a fast-motion movie of your face. It's like having a time machine!" stated Stanislav Kuptsov of Alice Dev Team. "Entertain your friends and family with a unique kind of movie, produced over many months."
