[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Tricky Duck today is pleased to announce RocketDocs 1.2 for Mac OS X, an upgrade to their popular business app designed as a lightweight Google Docs/Drive Client, which allows users to work with Google Docs and Google Apps in an application accessible from the Dock or Menu Bar. Independent of any web browser, RocketDocs consolidates and organizes all the features of Google Docs and Google Apps in a single window, allowing users to create new documents, open recent documents, preview documents, and share documents with one mouse click or one touch of the trackpad using Lion's Multi-Touch Gestures. According to Google, "Google Docs is a suite of products that lets you create different kinds of online documents, work on them in real time with other people, and store your documents and your other files - all online, and all for free. With an Internet connection, you can access your documents and files from any computer, anywhere in the world. (There's even some work you can do without an Internet connection!)" In addition, "Google Drive lets you do more than just store your files. Share files with exactly who you want and edit them together, from any device. Google Drive gives you instant access to Google Docs, a suite of editing tools that makes working together better—even when your teammates are miles away."

RocketDocs allows the user to go to the menu bar, access the app's drop-down menu and instantly create a new Document, Presentation, Spreadsheet, Form, or Drawing. Also available from the convenient menu is a list of all the most recently opened Google Docs documents from which the user can choose and quickly open any one.

RocketDocs is fully compatible with Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), Mac OS X Lion (10.7), and Mac OS X Mountain Lion (10.8), supporting available full screen modes and Multi-Touch Gestures. In addition, the app has tabs for easy navigation, supports hotkeys to easily switch between documents, user-definable hotkeys, and includes click and drag for easy editing within and between documents. Perfectly integrated with every feature and function of Google Docs, RocketDocs lets users view, preview, edit, sort, and share all their Google Docs documents from a single window. With support for Google Drive, users can store, share, and work together on files in the cloud.

With its unprecedented flexibility, integration, and power, the free Google Docs suite of products is appearing increasingly on desktops around the world. RocketDocs can dramatically increase any user's productivity whenever working with Google Docs.

"RocketDocs can dramatically increase your productivity with Google Docs! RocketDocs is a simple, yet powerful application that makes it easy to work with Google Docs and Google Drive," stated Roman Dashevski of Tricky Duck. "With RocketDocs, you can work faster with Google Docs than with a separate app."
