[prMac.com] Santa Cruz, California - GoodHumans is pleased to announce an update to the Compoundee family of apps for iOS devices. This latest update includes support for the 4 inch screen used by the iPhone 5 and latest iPod touch. The update also adds passcode locking, graphs, and other key features.
Users of Compoundee can now protect potentially sensitive financial calculations by requiring a passcode in order to run the app. This is accomplished by tapping on the More tab at the bottom right and then enabling the Passcode option. That prompts the user to enter a four-digit passcode and then confirm it by entering the code again. Following that process, the use will be prompted for that code any time the app is opened.
This update to Compoundee also adds the ability to view a graph of the calculation. The graph is displayed by tapping on the chart button that is second from the left at the top of the screen. That will show a screen with two line graphs. One graph shows the progression of the investment without accounting for inflation and other adjustments, and a second graph shows the adjusted amortization of the investment.
Compoundee is an easy to use financial calculator that solves compound interest, annuity, and time value of money problems. With Compoundee, users calculate the future value of investments, or determine the rate, deposits, duration, or initial investment that is needed to reach a financial goal. Compoundee makes these complex calculations easy with a simple user interface that can be used by anyone.
