Small Team, Big Game - Mad Processor Motorblast Out Now
December 5, 2012 in Games
[prMac.com] Hamburg, Germany - Production Costs in the millions are no longer rare on the App Store market. But Mad Processor's team of four developers from Hamburg proves it can be done differently. Now 3D action fans can take the driver's seat of Motorblast 1.0 for iOS. The new racing shooter is available on the App Store today.
Armed To The Wheels:
It's getting rough on the Motorblast playground. Not only the fastest lap will lead to victory but also taking the opponents to pieces. The physics simulation makes it possible: All vehicles are completely destructible to the core by crashing and shooting them with different weapons.
Multiplayer fans get their money's worth. Up to four players can connect together via WiFi or Bluetooth. Six cars, seven tracks and six different weapons and defensive systems are available.
Mad Processor focusses on its own technology. It took just over a year for the team of four to create the game. The self-developed 3D engine unleashes cutting edge graphics effects: Customized shader programs enable realistic looking car paints, rocks and various surfaces. The new speed optimized foliage system covers the landscape with thick vegetation. Like with a real camera sun light produces blazing lens flares. On top the particle system supports action-packed scenes with smoke and explosions.
