[prMac.com] Kaohsiung City, Taiwan - Recently, more and more apps with the Street View features start to appear on the App Store. Most of them are either not free, or not easy to use, or not well designed, or not universally compatible with iPhone and iPad. WhatsGoLa Camera, however, is the only Street View App that fulfills all ... and does more.
Quote from Cult of Mac: "WhatsGoLa, The Best Worst-Named Street View App For iOS."
The Street View functions are becoming noticeable mainly because people need it but Apple removes it from its official Map App. This causes huge amount of complaints. Fortunately, Google Street View API is still operating. We have done more by integrating the Gyroscope technology into it. When using WGL Street View Camera, we can simulate taking photos as we look around (see the trailer video). The photos we take from the Street View will then be saved into the Camera Roll.
What makes it even more interesting is that we can see red pins displayed on the world map when browsing these images from the native "Photos" app. These red pins flag the locations where we "took" these pictures from the Street View. It means that we can easily collect photos from everywhere in the world and trick our friends "I have been there".
You want to capture even more gorgeous photos? Browsing Panoramio scenery photos is also one of the features in this app. When tapping the map, it shows you the Panoramio photos shot in this area. With this feature, you can easily find stunning scenic photos from a given location, say Great Wall in China or Mount Fuji in Japan. Again, all photos downloaded to the iDevice can be browsed from the Photos App in the map mode.
Don't know where to visit? Don't worry. WGL Camera has a built-in database containing more than 1200 preset world famous places (powered by Panoramio Cool Places and Google Street View Collections). The latest NASA Headquarter Street View, Amazon River, art gallery, and even under the sea are all included. The new feature "Visit Random Location" even instantly shows the beauty of a cool location, so you can easily be notified interesting places that you may not know before. You can even learn more about these locations by visiting the introductory websites, which are also included in the database and continuously updated.
WGL Camera is a universal app. So you may enjoy the "map surfing" on the beautiful iPad Retina Display. It is also optimized for the taller screen on iPhone 5. Download one app, work for all devices.
If you like to pretend as if you had been to these crazy areas, you may also choose our other product "WhatsGoLa", which contains all necessary tools to let you superimpose cutouts onto those scenic photos. More details can be found on the official website.
