[prMac.com] Based in Georgia - Pixolini is pleased to introduce 321 Countdown for iOS, its customized countdown app that helps users keep track of the days until events, holidays, and more. The application's alert feature can notify users before or after the event, based on their settings. Each countdown continues on after the event, so that users may keep a record of both days until and since the occasion. An unlimited number of countdowns can be going on at once, each with a title and picture that users can choose from their Photo Library or get from the app's built-in, picture database.
* Unlimited countdowns by Years, Months, Days, Minutes, and Seconds
* Countdown until or since events
* Alerts before or after each individual event
* Users can assign personalized photos from album or choose from applicable stock photos
* Title each countdown
* Group countdowns: Pre-Event and Post-Event
* Share via Twitter or email, or save an image to the Photo Library
* iCloud support to sync all iOS Devices
One simple tap on the 321 Countdown screen allows users to view the app's menu. They can then choose the plus symbol in the bottom left-hand corner to create a new countdown. In this process, users are able to title their countdown, add a specified date and time of the event, choose a background image, and add an alert.
Users can create an unlimited number of countdowns, each one creating a new screen they can slide to with just one simple finger movement. Each countdown shows a clear background image with the event's title, as well as an uncomplicated and accurate view of the Month, Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds, which are labeled at the bottom of the screen and are updated live.
The background image of each countdown can come from any of the users' own photos; they can take their own or choose one that they have already taken. The app also offers more than 30 background options, both festive and plain, in its stock photo center, where the user can choose an appropriate background for the countdown. Photos can be set to full or wide screen on the countdown page.
If the optional alert feature is utilized, users can then choose the duration, type, and time of the alert. Alerts can be set for minutes, hours and days before or after an event, and will notify the users of the occasion when they desire.
321 Countdown offers the useful feature of continuing past the countdown time, turning the countdown red to signify its passing. In this way, users can keep track of the time since as well as the time until their most important events. Users can also delete past events if they wish.
It is easy to view a comprehensive list of all created events, featuring thumbnail images of each countdown's background, the dates, titles, and countdown time for each event. Here the countdowns can be sorted into Pre-Event and Post-Event countdowns for easy organization.
Users can share their countdowns via Twitter or email, or they can easily save images of the countdown to their device. The app is iCloud ready, allowing for effortless sync of countdowns between devices.
"321 Countdown gives a user an opportunity to keep track of the important events in their past and future with ease, offering handy alerts and colorful background images," stated a spokesman for Pixolini.
