[prMac.com] Shanghai, China - The popular MMORPG Haypi Monster will soon release its newest update, bestowing never-before-seen features on millions of players! This free-to-download iOS game has long-delighted players with its bright, colorful graphics and its user-friendly gameplay. Critics rave that the game not only satisfies their Pokemon nostalgia, but goes above and beyond in delivering a spellbinding adventure. Thanks to creative features like breeding, synthesis scrolls, and skill books, Haypi Monster succeeds at engrossing its audience for the long term.
The new update, Version 1.4, is expected to hit the App Store in just a few short weeks. In Version 1.4, players can venture through two brand new scenes, Holy Ruins and Barren Land, on top of the eight classic scenes that they already know.
One of the two new scenes is Holy Ruins, a once-beautiful city that still resonates with a holy aura. Holy Ruins is filled with powerful psychic monsters that attack when provoked. One monster, Pocahoontas, is a totem-bearing owl that beams its deadly Spirit Channel at predators. Another monster, Angelo, is an angelic dragon that can vanquish its enemies with a single Psychic Thrust. Players bold enough to take on the Veteran Mode of Holy Ruins will be rewarded with the synthesis scroll of Pattapilla, an epic plant-type caterpillar with big round eyes. Pattapilla can evolve into Pattafly with the help of a Four-Leaf Clover, growing emerald-green wings and spiraling antennae.
Barren Land, the other new scene, is home to the most powerful monsters in the game. These ruthless beasts can harness the powers of fire, electricity, and earth. Barren Land's final boss is said to be the legendary Minotaur, an earth-type monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man. Barren Land's Veteran Mode rewards its challengers with the synthesis scroll of Sneopard, an epic baby leopard with the power of ice. Sneopard can evolve when equipped with a magic item called Frostcore, turning it into a giant leopard called Clawpard.
Version 1.4 also delivers seven new monster skills and four new Mystery Talents. A new feature, Skill Upgrading, lets players dominate the game by boosting the already-advanced skills of their strongest monsters. Once a monster reaches a certain level, players can upgrade its skills with silver and Essence of Wisdom, two forms of in-game currency that can be acquired by completing challenges. Version 1.4 has been sent to the App Store review and is pending release.
