[prMac.com] Park City, Utah - Hike Salt Lake City launches in the App Store in time for the beginning of the 2014 Utah hiking season. Rogue Wave Productions, L.L.C. released the app for iPhone to assist local and visiting hikers in locating the most popular hikes within 4 counties in and around Salt Lake City, Utah. Easy to use and straight to the point, the app quickly assists hikers to locate over 50 hikes in the area. Hikers can choose the best trails based upon pertinent information and find each trailhead with ease.
From a simplistic home page, each hike has its own button leading to a custom trail interpretation page which contains a brief description of the hike followed by elevation information, trail difficulty, trail terrain info, length of time the hike requires, whether the trail is dog friendly or not, GPS coordinates to the trailhead and finally, clear driving instructions how to get to each trail. At the very bottom of each interpretation page, there is a short video (in most cases) to show hikers what the trails are all about.
