[prMac.com] Montreal, Canada - D-MagiK has announced the release of its game, Letterorites, as a universal application in the iTunes App Store. Letterorites stood out as a neoclassic arcade game, and one which trained your typing on your mobile and tablet like no other did.
Gameplay itself is very well-thought, creating an experience of endless challenges and fun while allowing players to improve their typing speed and accuracy painlessly and naturally. The game is structured around the device's native keyboard, allowing the players to use their own hardware as they always have, thereby improving their typing performance right at the source. Several different statistics can moreover be scored and shared, locally and globally, for added challenge and fun.
Letterorites includes a variety of special upgrades and performance enhancing items, as well. In addition to several cannon types - used to obliterate falling letters - Letterorites also gives players a variety of letter "enemies" to contest.
According to a review of the app from TheiPhoneAppReview, "Letterorites managed to do something we hadn't thought possible - it taught us to type even faster on the iPhone. And those that know us understand the magnitude of that statement! Truly, we are amazed." They also had this to add, saying "If you're looking for a fun, fast-paced typing game on the iPhone, you may very well have found your match in Letterorites!"
