[prMac.com] Vienna, Austria - Eternal Storms Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Yoink 3, a significant upgrade to the company's drag and drop helper app for OS X. Yoink 3 includes a number of handy new features, UI enhancements and a couple of smaller additions.
The app makes drag and drop of files and app content between windows, (fullscreen) apps and Spaces easier by providing a "shelf" where file drags can be temporarily placed. Now the mouse is free to move more easily and quickly to the actual destination of the drag. This is especially helpful when it comes to windows in different spaces, apps or fullscreen windows.
* Yoink's window can now be resized or automatically adjusted in height based on the number of files in it
* Quickly view files in a file-stack in Yoink by right-clicking onto it
* A fresh, new look that fits in perfectly with Yosemite
* A new, hand-crafted App-Icon and interface elements throughout the app
* Improvements and bug fixes, like better QuickLook Previews, cleaned-up preferences and better localization of filenames and paths
Yoink was first released in 2011 and has since become a 5-star-on-average-rated app (v2.5.2; 4-and-a-half star average over all versions), featured by Apple in the categories Invaluable Utilities and Get Stuff Done.
* Requires OS X 10.7.3 or later
* 1.9 MB
