[] Ogden, Utah - Jordan Hipwell has unveiled a major update to his SCalc app for iOS. Available now on the App Store, SCalc 2.0 is a unique and modern calculator app that has been thoughtfully crafted to offer an engaging experience that is dynamic and adaptive to each day of the week. SCalc 2.0 has also been extended to the Apple Watch, as well as the Today view in Notification Center.

The Apple Watch app offers a gorgeous calculator right on your wrist, featuring a design that changes for each day of the week, consistent with the parent iOS app. Optimized for the small Retina display, SCalc uses Force Touch to reveal operation buttons, allowing the round digit buttons to fit comfortably on screen.

“When Apple announced the Apple Watch, I knew everyone would love to have a beautiful yet simple calculator right on their wrist,” said designer and developer Jordan Hipwell. “I set out to create the most gorgeous calculator app, and I am pleased to announce this is now available, even before the Apple Watch is available to purchase. Quick calculations have never been so conveniently available, nor have they been this beautiful.”

The widget available in the Today view in Notification Center features a design that’s appropriate for its context, yet consistent with the style of the iOS app. Now a quick calculation is just a swipe away.

In addition to the Apple Watch app and Notification Center extension, SCalc 2.0 also introduces support for the large iPad display. SCalc also features hardware keyboard support, full VoiceOver support, single digit deletion, and key click sounds. Additionally, the interface is intelligently optimized for all languages and locales.
