in Education (E)

[] New York City, New York - Children's music does not need to be limited to "Wheels on the Bus" and the "A,B,C's." Since David Weinstone walked away from a record deal with a grunge band in 1997 to found Music for Aardvarks and Other Mammals, an interactive music classes that kids can't help but love, he has turned the children's entertainment industry on its head, composing songs, starring in music videos on Nick Jr, writing books and teaching the celebrated Music for Aardvarks classes which Time Magazine deemed "A cult phenomena in New York City." Music for Aardvarks has since grown nationally and internationally. Now, Weinstone's revolutionary brand of children's entertainment is available on the go as an iOS and Android app that creates a fully interactive musical experience for children.

The Music for Aardvarks Coloring Jukebox app allows kids to listen to six albums worth of their favorite Weinstone songs, including "Taxi," "Big Old Tree," "Splashing in the Tub," and many, many more songs, some of which are exclusively available through this app. Additionally, every song comes with a corresponding coloring page created by acclaimed artist Stephen Kroninger, inspired by the songs themselves. Kids will also be able to use six unique "coloring buddies," like the fruit-throwing monkey or the paint-splashing dog, to fill in each picture, ensuring that no two creations will look the same.
