How to enable “Do Not Disturb” mode on your iPhone

Do Not Disturb allows you to silence calls, alerts, and notifications while your phone is locked. You may also create Do Not Disturb schedules and allow people specific permissions. The function is intended to assist drivers in being more productive behind the wheel.

Do Not Disturb allows you to prevent notifications on demand or during a timetable that you create. It can also notify contacts who send you messages while you’re driving, letting them know that you’re going to be unavailable for a while.

To turn Do Not Disturb on manually, follow these steps:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap Do Not Disturb.
  • Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb to turn on Do Not Disturb manually or set a schedule.

Or touch and hold the crescent moon icon in Control Center to quickly adjust your Do Not Disturb settings, or tap the crescent symbol to turn it on or off.
