[prMac.com] Redmond, Washington - SlothMedia, LLC today is pleased to announce the release of KosmicMath 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch devices. KosmicMath is a space exploration game that reinforces mathematical scope and sequence requirements covering Preschool through 4th grade. Players are urged to demonstrate mastery over basic mathematical operations as they travel through the solar system collecting alien trophies and visiting NASA web sites. Players will be mesmerized by the stunning graphics and audio-making KosmicMath fun while educational. Mission logs showing player performance and proficiency are charted on a WEB portal.
For educational reinforcement, KosmicMath is a sophisticated mobile learning tool designed by children but addressing the needs of parent and educators alike. KosmicMath is available for home use (KosmicMath 1-4 players, KM-Family 5 players) and educational use (KM-Educator enterprise). Licensed versions of KosmicMath support multiple players on a single device (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad), device independence allowing players to continue game play across devices. KosmicMath is available in the Apple iTunes App Store, and it is distributed for home and educational institutional usage. The product offerings are:
KosmicMath - a free download may be played and unlocked from within your iPhone OS device using the pay as you go in-app purchase model. This product can support (1 to 4) players and with (1 to 5) grade levels, Pre-K through 4th grade. Purchasers may also upgrade to the Family license from within the application.
KosmicMath - Family is fully licensed to support (5) players and with all (5) grade levels Pre-K through 4th grade. This value proposition licenses you to cover all your kiddies needs in one fell swoop.
KosmicMath - Educator is licensed for (1) player with all (5) grade levels, Pre-K through 4th. This product is targeted to educators, tutors and schools. KosmicMath - Educator student licenses can be purchased separately supporting a variety of classroom, school and district wide licensing schemes. KosmicMath - Educator should become a part of every grade school technology budget request.
All KosmicMath products were designed to interoperate with each other. Unique to KosmicMath, and core to its architecture, is it's ability to perform player data synchronization. When enabled, player performance statistics and game state are synchronized across devices registered to the same adult or educator license. This allows players to roam across devices, picking up and continuing their Kosmic adventure right where they left off using any device.
Student roaming access to their game state is an enterprise educational requirement for any iPod touch or iPad enabled classroom. KosmicMath enables this feature across the entire product line thus allowing the "iPhone connected" family to synchronize their Kosmic player data across all their devices. Home players benefit from being able to use mom or dad's device without keeping track of where their last saved game state was left.
This synchronization scheme also allows Teachers and Tutors to monitor and assign students KosmicMath home work and Drills which can be executed at home and while in school. KosmicMath raises the bar of the extended classroom experience providing safe screen time for grade school children and with parental and educator tracking of results.
Parents and Educators: KosmicMath is much more than mathematics game; it is an advanced scope and sequence reinforcement platform that monitors player response gathering over 170 data points per play session. Player performance data is stored locally and synchronized into a central data repository via WIFI/cellular networks if enabled. Players, educators & parents may view and analyze mission or drill data stored on the KosmicMath Web Portal to track achievements and quickly identify problem areas. Access to the KosmicMath Web Portal is included in the KosmicMath license for 12 months.
KosmicMath takes the drudgery of performance tracking and beautifies it with click-and-drag drill down WEB reporting tools enabled with every purchase. Parent's no longer have to feel guilty about giving their iPhone / iPod / iPad device to their child wondering if they are getting any value out of it. KosmicMath gathers and reports to the parents and educators each player's performance indicators including: mission scores and drill / test results (along with original test questions and student answers) in a format that is both familiar and refreshed using WEB 2.0 technologies.
Your child's performance is made visible to you via email reports, detailed tabular data reports and advanced graphical summarization tools made available on the KosmicMath WEB portal. Performance graphs show your child's mathematical proficiency by operand and within their expected scope and sequence learning requirement for each grade level. Proficiency graphs show your child's mastery as they hone in on faster response times with higher accuracy. KosmicMath redefines grade school mathematics mastery by making it fun to "Reach for the Stars."
