[prMac.com] Boston, Massachusetts - Online video management and collaboration leader, MediaSilo has announced a new desktop-based tool for account monitoring. The "MediaSilo Activity Monitor," is a small app, or widget, that updates account administrators of upload, download and collaboration activities within their MediaSilo account.
"MediaSilo is committed to maximizing time management for our clients," said Kai Pradel, MediaSilo CEO. "The Activity Widget is a natural extension of that commitment."
With the addition of the new widget, the company expands MediaSilo's online suite of video collaboration, content management and publishing tool notification features.
"The activity widget extends client and staff notifications to realtime administration and tracking of account activity," Pradel said. "That means creative and production professionals can know within seconds when content is available for review or if a client has seen or approved an asset."
Best known for it's applications for professional video production workflows, MediaSilo has seen impressive growth in corporate and specialized markets as well. Company leaders say while their user profiles are becoming more diverse, their needs are relatively uniform.
"Every creative pro needs to know where his or her assets are and who's working with them. The Activity Monitor serves as a real time control panel for our client's video libraries," said Pradel.
The Widget is provided as a free download to MediaSilo customers and adds to the company's online suite of video tools. The activity monitor is included with all MediaSilo product offerings, including the popular "Hollywood" package the boasts virtually unlimited bandwidth and storage for as little as $99 a month. Pricing and plans are featured on the company's upgraded website.
