[prMac.com] omz:software announced the release of version 1.3 of the word guessing game Tabula Magica today. Tabula Magica is based on the popular game "Hangman" and simulates a complete chalkboard to convey a nostalgic feeling.
The letters and drawing appear as handwritten, even with the appropriate chalk sound. In the registered version, players can easily draw their own animations within the game and personalize the available wordlists which already include more than 20,000 entries. There are three alternative built-in animations to choose from in the Demo.
The letters can be guessed either with the keyboard or with the Mac OS X speech recognition, using the ICAO alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie...)
The game includes a two player mode and when not playing, users can use the chalkboard to make little sketches or notes on their Desktop - sponge included.
The registered version of the game costs $7.50, the Demo is completely playable and does not expire with a trial period.
