[prMac.com] Orlando, Florida - Holderness Media Inc. today is pleased to announce the release of Udu Drum 1.0 for iPad devices. Udu Drum for iPad brings the rich tones of the Nigerian udu to iOS devices. Udu means "vessel" in the native language of the Igbo people of Nigeria, where the drum originated.
Typically made from clay, the drum is played by hand. It is a wonderfully expressive instrument, producing a wide variety of tones and pitches ranging from deep bass to crisp highs and everything in between. Udu Drum for iPad gives the user an expressive interface to play the virtual drum with, and features high quality, dynamically layered samples. Unlike many other drum apps, the drum hits decay naturally, without sounding static or lifeless. Udu Drum is best used with headphones or plugged into a stereo or speaker system.
