[prMac.com] Warsaw, Poland - Macoscope announces the release of HUDTube 1.0 for Mac. HUDTube is simple but it has all the stuff you need to really enjoy browser-free videos. You simply drag and drop YouTube, Vimeo or local clips to it and it's done. But don't think that it's all to it. As your clips are now outside the box you can loop your favorite music videos to watch them over and over again without jumping to browser's tab and clicking play every time the video ends.
You also decide about the sound level (just use media keys to volume up, down or mute the video), size of the window, it's opacity and whether it'll be always on top or just run in the background. HUDTube also has a very good memory. You can play previously watched clips with just one click, no more firing up your browser's tab to search what you want to watch now. You will find all your previously watched videos in the history menu.
HUDTube is great not only for music lovers as it becomes very handy when it comes to productivity issues. Take for example materials from conferences, you just fire up the app, drag the video's URL, leave the window in the background and listen to guys from TEDex while keeping up your workflow.
* Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later
* 0.9 MB
Pricing and Availability:
HUDTube 1.0 is $5.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide through the Mac App Store in the Video category.
