[prMac.com] Sea Girt, New Jersey - Tickets on the Fly for the iPhone and Tickets on the Fly HD allow you to call and deal directly with the person that owns the tickets. No worries about entering credit card info to app, no more worrying if the order actually went through, and no more paying someone 35% extra to purchase the tickets for you.
For those of you that don't know how the ticket industry works we are going to give you a crash course. First, when an event goes on sale thousands of ticket brokers across the US buy out any tickets they think will be worth reselling. They then mark up these tickets from the original ticket price to make a profit, but the problem is there are so many ticket brokers it would be impossible for them to market all over the country to sell their tickets, so they post their inventory with a company like Stubhub who markets the tickets for them. Stubhub then adds a service fee to the customer to use their service. If you just knew who owned those tickets you could save a lot of money.
What Tickets on the Fly does is offer this same service for free through our mobile applications. We do this by not processing the order and simply allow you to contact the person directly saving you all the money in service fees. Tickets on the Fly as the Craig's List of ticket searching.
