PowerMax Announces Mascot Design Contest

[prMac.com] Lake Oswego, Oregon - PowerMax announced today the launch of its first design competition to find a visual representation of the company's mascot, Max the Sasquatch.

The PowerMax Mascot Design Contest is open to all US residents who are 18 years or older who capture the fun and quirky nature of the company through the design of Max. The contest runs through December 16, 2011. Contest entry forms and additional information can be found at PowerMax online.

"We're really excited about this competition and are looking forward to seeing all of the entries," said Kevin Anderson, PowerMax CEO. "Max the Sasquatch has been a great mascot for PowerMax. He emphasizes our Northwest roots and our playfulness, and we like to have a lot of fun with the concept."

Contest details:

A panel of registered PowerMax staff will review and evaluate the design entries for the Mascot Design Competition. The Grand Prize winner and runner-ups will be announced by January 1, 2012. Through sponsorship from PowerMax, Adobe, Wacom, Bose, LaCie, Klipsch, and Skullcandy, the contest winners will receive a variety of popular technology products to help them in their future design projects including:

Grand Prize: approximate value of $3,335.93. A 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro, Adobe Premier Pro CS5, Wacom Intuos4 Small Pen Tablet, Bose Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System, LaCie Rugged All Terrain 500GB Hard Disk, Klipsch Image ONE Stereo Headphones.

Second Prize: A $100.00 Gift Certificate for use at PowerMax

Third Prize: A $50.00 Gift Certificate for use at PowerMax

All entrants will be automatically entered into a raffle to win one pair of Skullcandy ROC Nation Aviator Headphones.
