[prMac.com] Vilnius, Lithuania - Jumsoft, a developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X, has once again set the benchmark for business and finance tools created for Apple fans. This week, the company released the latest update of its most popular product, Money. Money 4.3.1 presents a number of improvements, including a payee location functionality that is powered by Foursquare.
Money was first released in 2003 and has since become extremely popular among both small business and home Mac users. Fans of Money appreciate its high usability and the effortless financial management that it provides. This product allows users to track transactions to and from their wallets, bank accounts, and credit card accounts; it also enables them to plan budgets and monitor actual spending, manage bills, track payees, generate income/expense reports, and sync their financial data with the iPhone and iPad.
The upgraded Money 4.3.1 presents the possibility of adding payees from the Foursquare list of nearby places, assigning addresses to existing payees, and viewing payee locations on a map. In addition, all Foursquare payees come with pre-assigned but editable categories, which makes adding new transactions much faster and more convenient.
"The latest update of Money might well set a new standard for personal finance apps," says Algirdas Unguvaitis, the general manager of Jumsoft. "It makes expense tracking handy, simple, and positively fun."
In addition to the Foursquare integration, Money 4.3.1 features a redesigned Reports section, the capacity to merge several categories or subcategories, as well as various minor improvements and bug fixes.
