Sound Wand MIDI is part of a ground breaking project to bring the rich dynamic and sound detail of traditional instruments into digital music using the motion sensors in mobile devices. The goal is to spawn new genres of music and allow anyone the ability to create professional calibre expressive music.
Amongst the changes are a vastly improved wi-fi connection and auto-detect system, Virtual MIDI for controlling other music apps such as Garage Band, "Shake", "Shuffle" and "Play Intensity" articulation algorithms, a MIDI CC Learn Wizard for quick connection to your software instruments effect and numerous minor improvements and bug fixes.
"I've tried a lot of 'anyone can make music' apps in the past, and they've not always lived up to the hype...but I should have been more optimistic...I rather like Sound Wand..." - Cult Of Mac
