Children's e-book about a sad clown's journey to confidence

in Books (F)

[] Lelystad, Netherlands - Joanne de Witte is pleased to introduce Little Cate, a free e-book about a sad clown who's being bullied because she does not have bright colors like the other clowns. But all of that changes, when her new friend takes her on a journey to confidence.

Before the story begins, little Cate invites the reader to come along with her on her journey. The journey begins on stage, as little Cate is being bullied. A kind clown named Fred, pulls some things out of his hat, to cheer up the little sad clown. But nothing seems to work, until he takes her on a journey to show her all kinds of places and animals. Little Cate is taught how beautiful everything is, just the way it is.

When the e-book is being read to little children, they enjoy looking at the colorful illustrations, and are eager to tap the buttons that reveal interesting sounds. While the story focuses on friendship and confidence, some facts and words are being taught as well. Because the story is short and entertaining, most little ones have no trouble concentrating, and get to learn great things on their small journey with little Cate.
