[prMac.com] Washington, District of Columbia - Kata Enterprises has released the second game in the SMART Adventures series for iPad, SMART Adventures Mission Math 2: Peril at the Pyramids. SMART Adventures Mission Math 2 is a $4.99 download from the App Store.
SMART Adventures Mission Math(R) is a trailblazing series of fun and educational games that utilize an epic story arc and a series of mysteries to encourage continued math practice and the development of problem-solving skills. Each player is the star of the game and part of a team that works together to solve the mystery. The games provide a safe, secure environment with no ads or in-app purchases and no additional modules to purchase to finish the game.
In SMART Adventures Mission Math 2, artifacts are disappearing, scaffolding is collapsing, agents are in turmoil, and everyone is in Peril...at the Pyramids! This STEM-focused adventure game has players interacting with other agents and scientists, exploring an ancient pyramid, and using math skills to solve the mystery. The math mini-games incorporate arithmetic, order of operations, prime and composite numbers, perimeter and area, geometry, basic statistics and probability, long division, spatial rotation, and other math skills most kids learn by fifth grade.
The new game is a sequel to SMART Adventures Mission Math 1: Sabotage at the Space Station, which received praise from USA Today, Common Sense Media, GeekDad, and many parents, teachers, and kids who experienced the mission firsthand. Agents who have not yet completed Sabotage at the Space Station can download it free from the App Store for a limited time.
