[prMac.com] Boulder, Colorado - The Alchemist Guild LLC today is proud to announce the release of TaskCard 2 for OS X. Following a long delay between versions, TaskCard 2 was designed from the ground up to offer the user a fresh experience with writing outlines, taking notes, to-do lists and organizing projects. Professionals, students and casual writers alike will appreciate TaskCard's unique approach to working with ideas while benefiting from its powerful feature set.
What is TaskCard?
TaskCard takes the concept of "sticky notes" and brings them into the world of outlining, to-do lists and project management using a unique interface unlike anything else on the Mac. Since 2011 users of TaskCard have seen it as their "project management workbench" where they can: make outlines for their projects, jot down notes quickly, do research and keep organized using TaskCard's getting things done system.
Version 2.0 was designed from the ground up to be a totally unique experience on the Mac while taking full advantage of the latest features OS X has to offer. The new design of TaskCard is faster, more intuitive and easier to use than ever before. Notably appearing in the new version is: full support for sticky notes, seamless integration with events in your Mac's calendar, simple bullet lists with row numbering and tabbed cards.
* Events that integrate with your Mac's calendar and other devices
* Attach other content like: files, URL's, images and more
* Document-less interface and "sheets" for managing content
* Full featured sticky notes for writing
* Mac OS X Version 10.10 Yosemite or higher
* 64 bit Intel
* 14 MB Hard Drive space
With a history spanning back to the late 90's and RPG gaming on the classic Mac OS, The Alchemist Guild in its current form didn't become active until the early 2000's when sole proprietor and lead developer Ryan Joseph began work porting a PERL IDE from OS 9 to OS X. Since then The Alchemist Guild has been working on various utilities and productivity apps on the Mac with TaskCard and DockShelf (an innovation Dock alternative) being their most prominent projects.
