in Education (F)

[] Copenhagen, Denmark - Skidos Labs launches first of new generation of games adapted to help kids learn while they play. Introducing Hop Star: Fun Visual Math Game 1.1 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices, which is an addictive, arcade-style gaming app from Award-winning tech start-up Skidos.

For Kids
Kids know that most 'educational games' are simply maths lessons in disguise. Hop Star is different. In Hop Star - Skidos puts the gaming experience first. And lets the learning take care of itself. No worksheets, just winners. No fear of failure, just plaudits for practice.

For Parents & Teachers
Hop Star is aligned to the national math curriculum and the Common Core Standards for students in K-5. It incorporates visual math to encourage higher-order thinking and can be adapted to each student. It also features intelligent reports - accessible on any device - which help teachers and parents spot where a child is struggling and where they're soaring. And this is just the beginning. Hop Star has been tested with over 100 kids in five schools and, as well as partnering with research institutions to ensure its products keep getting better, Skidos is looking to launch more learning apps for STEM skills which cover the whole curriculum.

Hop Star is scheduled to launch on the Apple App store globally on 4th August 2016.
