[prMac.com] Zaragoza, Spain - Independent developer Fidel Lainez, creator of the innovative app TiltShift Video, today is pleased to announce the release of VideoGrade 1.1.0, an update to his color grading app for iOS. The update makes the app Universal, bringing a specially designed interface for the iPad. It also includes important improvements for Full HD video processing.
Taking advantage of the latest technologies introduced in iOS 5, VideoGrade allows to edit videos in a fast, easy and flexible way. Available for $1.99 on the App Store, the tools it provides can be used to adjust the video images in subtle ways, correcting problems like bad lightning, or to produce dramatic changes to achieve a cinematographic look. With eight different adjustments, the possibilities are endless.
All of the adjustments are highly configurable, providing a wide range of outputs; some of them feature an advanced mode that can be used to apply different transformations to each of the video areas (highlights, mid-tones or shadows), giving a great control over the final result.
The most immediate use for VideoGrade is to improve the image quality of the videos: it can easily correct frequent issues like bad lightning, poor contrast or incorrect white balance. The Recovery adjustment gives the possibility to selectively recover blown-out highlights or enlighten shadows, while the Color Temperature adjustment gives an easy way to correct wrong white balances.
Additionally, VideoGrade can be used to totally modify the look of the videos, changing their mood or giving them any of the cinematographic looks of the most popular films.
VideoGrade features a beautiful and intuitive user interface that can be mastered in minutes. All the available options are just a couple of taps away. The preset functionality can be used to save the favorite adjustments combinations and apply them to any video in a fast manner.
During the whole editing process, the app provides a constant feedback of how the video will look like with the selected settings, making much easier to get the desired results. The export process only requires to choose a video resolution for the output. Processed videos are directly saved to the device's Camera Roll. The smart rendering engine takes advantage of the latest technologies to ensure a fast processing.
