May 21, 2012 - Fortunate Bear today announces that it is has acquired Pandora, an image and media search tool for Mac OS X, from Positive Spin Media. Fortunate Bear has rechristened the application Skyscraper, and will renew development. Fortunate Bear will support existing Pandora 2.x customers. A new version of Skyscraper is available now for immediate download. Version 2.7.2 is a minor update, and free for customers who purchased Skyscraper through Positive Spin Media's store.

May 09, 2012 - California-based Fortunate Bear today announces Illuminate 1.2, an update to its application and window switcher for Mac OS X. Illuminate allows users to find the right window right when they need it. Illuminate also provides extensive and customizable shortcuts, so everything can be done via the keyboard. Version 1.2 improves the window switching functionality, adds tab support for Chrome, the ability to exclude certain applications, and options for sorting windows.

Apr 03, 2012 - Fortunate Bear today announces Log Leech for iOS, and an update to the Mac version. Log Leech is a utility for viewing the console log in an organized and intuitive manner. The 1.5 update includes UI refinements, better export, and stability and performance improvements. The iOS version is available from the App Store. The Mac update is available for free to existing customers, from either the Mac App Store or Fortunate Bear's online store.

Mar 27, 2012 - Fortunate Bear today announces that it has acquired Pagehand, a word processor for the Mac, from Pagehand.com. Fortunate Bear has renamed the application to Pagesmith, and will renew development in addition to providing support for existing Pagehand customers. Pagesmith provides fine grained control over the document's typography, and uses PDF as its native file format to ensure their fidelity. A new version of the rechristened application, version 1.0.9, is available for immediate download.

Feb 27, 2012 - California based Fortunate Bear, LLC today announced that it has acquired Creastoric, a Mac software company and makers of the Log Leech application. Fortunate Bear will renew development of Log Leech, and provide support for existing customers. A new version of Log Leech, version 1.3.2, is available for immediate download. Copies of Log Leech will update automatically to Fortunate Bear's 1.3.2 version, and customer's serial numbers will automatically be converted for them.
