Dec 03, 2008 - Excel Software updated the QuickCRC and QuickUML tools to design object-oriented software. The software updates for Mac OS X and Windows include a new installer, interface enhancements, add and delete diagram buttons and a reduced price. The Mac edition is a Universal Binary application optimized for both PPC and Intel based Mac OS X computers. The Windows edition runs on XP or Vista. CRC cards or UML models can be edited from Mac or Windows.

Nov 19, 2008 - Karelia Software has released a Software Developers' Kit (SDK) for creating plugins for Sandvox version 1.5 and up. The Sandvox SDK allows Cocoa developers to create new custom pages, pagelets, and collection index data types. By creating custom-built plugins, Sandvox can be extended far beyond the core of its own built-in 11 page types and 19 pagelet types. The Sandvox SDK is a set of documentation, full source code to almost all of the built-in plugins from Sandvox, and an Xcode template.

Nov 14, 2008 - Excel Software ships RbApp 2.2 for REALbasic development. RbApp components can be used for applications that require graphics, page layout, data entry and manipulation grids, text editing, undo/redo commands, tool bars and palettes, string lists, XML storage, cross-platform file management, charts or graphs.

Apr 30, 2008 - Tumult Co. today announced the release of version 1.6 of its lightweight HTML and PHP editor for Mac OS X, HyperEdit. Tumult HyperEdit uses a split view with text editor and a preview pane to display the web page live as a user types. Version 1.6 improves HyperEdit with several stability fixes, support for Safari 3.1's Web Inspector, the ability to display invisible characters, auto-updates, and better support for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
