Martin Wengenmayer releases Cheetah3D 5.6 - With new snapping tools

[prMac.com] Tapfheim, Germany - Independent software developer Martin Wengenmayer today is proud to announce the release of Cheetah3D 5.6, a major update to his very popular, professional level 3D modeling solution for Mac OS X. Developed from the ground up utilizing the latest Cocoa technologies, Cheetah3D is a lean, fast, and elegant 3D modeling, rendering, and animation package with an easy learning curve.
The biggest change in this latest version is undoubtedly the completely rewritten transform tool. The new transform tool now support multi-object selections, a gadget mode to arbitrarily align the transform gadget and much improved snapping tools for precise modeling. Version 5.6 also introduce post- and pre-rotations which are great for orienting joints. The added support for many video codecs like H.264 or MPEG4 plus many small workflow enhancements rounds up the new features.
