Regex for Mac OS X on the Mac App Store

[prMac.com] Singapore - MotionObj today is pleased to announce Regex, a new app for testing regular expressions running on Mac OS X. It features a fast, easy to use interface for testing and constructing regular expressions. Paste in a regular expression and a piece of sample text to work against and the tool allows you to tweak the regular expression as well as the sample text and the matches will be highlighted dynamically.

Features include:
* Dynamic highlighting of matches while the regular expression or sample text is being modified
* Automatic escaping of special characters when copying a regular expression
* Automatic unescaping of special characters when pasting a regular expression
* Supports capture groups
* Supports matching options such as case-insensitive matches
* Fast and Dead-simple to use

Regex is developed by MotionObj, founded in 2002 and run by independent software developer, Hwee-Boon Yar who is based in Singapore. Over the past 9 years, MotionObj has developed web services and software products for various commercial entities. MotionObj also develops iOS apps such as SimplyTweet, a Twitter app for the iPhone and iPod touch.
