SmartTime Integrates Tasks With iPhone Calendar

in Productivity (E)

[] Bainbridge Island, Washington - Left Coast Logic announces SmartTime(TM), an organizer that finds Time for your tasks. The all-new SmartTime 5 for iOS5 integrates tasks directly into the iPhone calendar - an industry first. The company also announced a year-end sales event to introduce their productivity apps and schedule calendars - a wonderful gift idea.

SmartTime(TM) was the first organizer designed specifically for the iPhone - the first to combine tasks with events, the first to schedule tasks, and the first with landscape week and month calendars (just flip it sideways). Now, SmartTime is the first to integrate tasks directly into the iPhone calendar. It does this by converting them into calendar events with a little check-box icon next to them. They may look like events in the iPhone calendar, but their placement is completely controlled by SmartTime's unique adaptive technology. It works like this: Tell SmartTime how many hours you need to work each day. Contexts allow for two separate locations such as Home and Office. SmartTime then checks your appointments, and schedules your tasks into the free time in-between.

"It works great on SmartTime as an integrated system," says Managing Director Michael Jardine, "so we though we'd extend it to the iPhone Calendar itself - and that includes any other calendars that you may sync your iPhone calendar to, such as iCal, Google and Outlook."

The company is offering half-price on its line of productivity apps through the end of the year. "These make for great year-end gifts," adds co-founder James Reynolds, "especially for people who want to get a jump on their new year's resolutions and 2012 calendar. Just click the download icon on iTunes and select 'Gift This App' from the drop-down menu."

In January the company plans to launch several new apps at MacWorld, including an innovative productivity powerhouse for the Mac. In addition to SmartTime, their line-up of productivity apps includes:

* SmartPad, an all-in-one organizer and planner for iPad
* SmartCal, an organizer and calendar for iPhone
* SmartPlans, a project planner and timer for iPhone and iPad
* SmartNotes, a creative note taker for iPhone, iPad and web with photos and voice attachments
