[] Indianapolis, Indiana - Miss Pivot introduces Fire Cupid for iPad. Fire Cupid's goal is to eliminate awkward moments in dating. First dates can be scary. The impending doom of saying the wrong thing, spilling a drink or the worry of uncomfortable silences can really ramp up anxiety for single men and women. And, for two lucky couples, it's about to get much worse on March 11 and March 12, because Miss Pivot, an Indianapolis-based dating consultancy company, has decided to include their fans, and let them take the wingwoman reins for the first ever interactive blind date at this year's South by Southwest festival.

Twitter users will follow @AwkwardDating to get options to cast their vote and help decide the fate of the date. The funniest comments, most retweeted suggestions, and generally hilarious remarks will drive the date. The audience alone will decide whether this turns into a date from hell, or runs so smoothly the couple thinks they've been shot by Cupid's arrow. The funniest advice givers each night will get free copies of Miss Pivot's new interactive book, Fire Cupid!

Followers who want to be involved, can log onto and submit a brief intro for why they should be chosen as one of the blind date candidates.

"We wanted to create an experience where fans could get involved," said Miss Pivot Owner, Josh Mitchell. "So, we took the stop awkward dating concept and created a mission people could support while having a great time!"

Miss Pivot consults with singles to help them become better at dating by explaining the science behind dating to build their confidence. Body language, facial expressions and communication cues are all part of the skills Miss Pivot aims to teach clients. Wingwomen, or pivots as they're called, are another part of the company. Clients can hire wingwomen to go out to events with them, and help introduce them to other singles. Using this method, as well as their interactive book application, Fire Cupid, Miss Pivot has successfully helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals. So they figured, why not give their fans a chance, too? Stopawkwarddating's interactive date will combine the wingwoman services of Miss Pivot, social media and willing human experiments to create an either very awkward date, or one that could translate to true love.
