Hoiio Live Brings Your Phonebook to Life

[prMac.com] Singapore - Hoiio Pte. Ltd., innovators of technologies that connect people at work, has just released Hoiio Live. Hoiio Live aims to solve issues plaguing both the traditional phonebook and its digital forms. Hoiio believes that the Phonebook is dead. Phonebooks of today are incapable of self-updating and thereby increasing the likelihood of having outdated entries.
Hoiio Live revolves around the concept of the Phonebook being alive, making it capable of live and self-updates. Hoiio Live helps each user create his or her own identity in the form of a Card. To bring the phonebook to life, users connect with new or existing contacts with their Cards to form Connections. Any updates made to a user's Card will trigger notifications and automatic phonebook updates to all of the user's Connections. In line with the live phonebook concept, Hoiio Live makes finding Connections easy by suggesting users nearby and people users may know, based on the users' phonebook data.
What sets Hoiio Live apart is its ability to have its phonebook data recognized natively by the phone without altering the users' original phonebook. This is made possible by SafeSync(R), Hoiio's own CardDav service. With this feature, updates gathered from the Hoiio Live application will be recognized by native apps in the phone such as Caller ID, Phone, Messaging and others. Furthermore, Hoiio Live stores phonebook data in the cloud, making data always accessible to the users as long as they have an iOS device or any internet-capable device with a browser.
Hoiio Live was made to revolutionize how people manage phonebook information for the better. However, this is just the beginning. Hoiio Pte. Ltd. sees more phonebook issues to solve and has big plans to execute in the upcoming months which include an Android version of Hoiio Live and Live Groups, among others.
