[prMac.com] Winnipeg (Manitoba) Canada - Popular Macintosh publisher and developer, Freshcode, today announced the release of DropClip, a useful Dropbox Addon that makes it super easy and convenient to direct people to Dropbox files you've shared with them.
Currently, when you share a Dropbox folder with someone and want to direct them to a file within that shared folder, you have to go through the tedious process of either verbally directing them to the file in question, or manually preparing and sending them the appropriate path to the file.
DropClip eliminates all that hassle and makes Dropbox a much more intuitive tool for sharing files. Upon installing DropClip, you direct someone to a shared file by simply Control-Clicking (Right-Click) on the filename and selecting 'Copy DropClip URL'. Then you just paste the DropClip URL into an email or chat window. That's all there is to it. When the person you are sharing the file with clicks on the DropClip URL, it takes the user directly to the file within the shared Dropbox folder. No fuss, no muss.
Compatibility and Availability:
DropClip is $1.99 USD and available for a trial download or immediate purchase from Freshcode's Web Site. DropClip is a Mac-only app that requires Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or greater, and any version of the Dropbox app for the Mac. DropClip is currently available in English only.
