[prMac.com] Pfaeffikon, Switzerland - Power App today is pleased to announce Movie Player+ 1.2.0 for iOS, an update to its powerful app that adds creative filters & special effects to any video in real-time. This update allows users to save their newly created videos to the camera roll and share it with others. * HUD (Heads Up Display) to watch the movie on a mirrored surface, such as a car windshield
The major photo sharing web sites, like Instagram, Flickr, and Twitter, all let users filter their photos before posting. It's clear that in a world of billions of online stills and videos, a variety of photo/video "looks" is necessary to enhance the mood of pictures and help save viewers from ordinary photo "overload."
And now that all three photo-services allow users to post videos, Movie Player+ is the solution to uploading videos that stand out. The app offers several outstanding features, particularly: One Touch Brightness and Contrast Control, 8 artistic filters, and 3 special effects. A truly innovative capability, OTBCC eliminates time-consuming adjustment of video brightness and contrast. Ordinarily, these are two separate adjustments, and because changing one affects the other, users typically need to go back and forth until the picture looks perfect. With Movie Player+, users can see in real-time the interaction between these two picture controls and adjust both simultaneously.
Having corrected brightness and contrast, users can add filters and effects. The app includes eight artistic filters: black & white; sepia/vignette; soft colors; amatorka; CRT green; pixelated; cartoon; and outline. Video editors can punch in effects as the video plays for easy comparison. Finally, three special effects can be added: flip vertical, flip horizontal, and double the width and length.
"Now, version 1.2.0 of Movie Player+ lets users save their modified movies," commented Christian Schaffner of Power App. "You can view the results of your various settings in real-time, and you can record the new movie simultaneously."
