Particle Panic is a fast-paced, puzzle-arcade game where you take the role of a mad scientist running an even madder experiment to harness energy from a new, potentially-limitless power source. The interaction of your exawatt laser with the spacetime continuum causes subatomic particles called quarks to spontaneously appear out of the seething quantum vacuum. Particle Panic is a game primarily about adding colors in the right combinations, but it's not your ordinary "match-three" game by any measure.

The player must combine groups of particles and balance their colors, electric charges and spins to get them to annihilate and release energy. Collect enough energy to advance to the next level. Particle Panic is unique in that you can create new particles with the properties you need by adding existing particles, all based on simple color addition logic and arithmetic. When things get crazy, detonate color-specific nukes, shift particle colors, create time warps and spawn black holes to save the day. Be quick with your fingers and be sure to confine your quark-gluon plasma within your reactor chamber. If the plasma gets too hot, it will breach the containment vessel. The results would be catastrophic!

Particle Panic features:
* Multitouch arcade gameplay
* Fast-paced, puzzle-solving action
* New strategies as you advance levels
* Endless gameplay for great replay value
* Seamless level advancement
* Put your reflexes and cognitive skills to the ultimate test in Meltdown mode
* Special powerups like nukes and color shifts
* Powerful abilities like time warps and black holes
* A chill, ambient soundtrack to relax with as you play
* HD Graphics optimized for the Retina Display
* Ability to play music from your own library
* Automatic game save feature so you can take a call and come back to play
* Game Center and OpenFeint integration lets you gain achievements and keep track of high scores
* Obeys the laws of quantum chromodynamics

The release of Particle Panic will set the stage for exciting updates and expansions. Future additions may feature new particles, new powerups, new abilities, and new music tracks to create new experiences for players. The most challenging aspect of Particle Panic's design was transforming an arcane subject like elementary particle physics into a fun, casual gaming experience for iPhone players all over the world, while retaining the essential elements of the science.

By accomplishing this, it is hoped that Particle Panic will appeal to both kids and science educators as a fun and unique introduction to the world of subatomic particles and their properties like electric charge and spin, as well as the ideas of temperature, energy, forces, antimatter, bonds, thermodynamics, astronomy and astrophysics. Also expressed are the concepts of temporal mechanics, and special and general relativity, visualized in powerful, special abilities available to the gamer at later stages. Particle Panic is a thinking game and enforces memory and basic math concepts, and encourages the use of strategy, in addition to requiring fast reflexes and dexterity.

Device Requirements:
