[prMac.com] Chicago, Illinois - Continuous Integration, Inc. today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of the Corona SDK App of the Month for June, 2011, Word Ball and Word Ball Free 1.1. With the update to Word Ball 1.1 comes a new "Sprint" game mode, HD retina display fonts, some enhanced gameplay, and minor bug fixes. In the "Sprint" game mode, the player will receive a smaller random subset of letters to build words with for each level. While the concept remains the same, keeping the letters alive and making as many words as possible, this new game mode adds another variation and versatility to the existing set of word building challenges the game already provides.
With the update to Word Ball Free 1.1, Continuous Integration, Inc. has given it a bit of a facelift. The game now provides a full featured "Classic" game mode with Game Center and OpenFeint support. This will provide players with not just a trial version that was previously available, but a chance to play the full game with all its capabilities that include leaderboards, achievements, detailed statistics, and history of scores. As with the full version, other updates also include: HD retina display fonts, some enhanced gameplay, and minor bug fixes.
