[prMac.com] Amsterdam, The Netherlands - The Mental Faculty today is pleased to announce the availability of Mental Case 2 for Mac OS X Lion. Mental Case is an advanced study app, which can be used to recall everyday things, or study for tests and exams. It combines multi-faceted media flashcards, with study scheduling to improve memory retention.
The new release has been rewritten from scratch, and is a much more rounded tool than the original Mental Case application. It adds support for multi-faceted notes, which can include formatted text, images, audio, and video, and includes direct, free downloads from sites like Quizlet and FlashcardExchange. Mental Case 2 also includes advanced study scheduling, with the ability to target exam dates.
"Mental Case 2 has been years in the making, but we are very happy with the outcome.", said Drew McCormack, Founder and Owner of The Mental Faculty. "The note taking features are much more flexible, including support for video, and study schedules are now tailored to your personal goals, whether they be long-term learning, or cramming for an exam."
"We also added support for downloading from online flashcard sites like Quizlet.com and FlashcardExchange.com, and the tasks that Mental Case has always been good at, such as syncing with Mental Case apps on iOS, are still supported."
