With features such as motion detection, real-time compression of multiple video and audio feeds, and network video and audio streaming, SecuritySpy is designed for demanding video surveillance applications.
"This update represents our ongoing commitment to maintaining top quality software and responding to our customers' feedback" said Ben Bird, the developer of SecuritySpy. "Combined with Mac OS X, the rock-solid operating system from Apple, SecuritySpy offers unsurpassed functionality, stability and ease of use."
SecuritySpy supports a wide variety of network cameras and video servers, including the popular ACTi, Axis, Panasonic, Sony and Vivotek ranges, as well as FireWire, USB, and PCI video input devices. New features in this version include a built-in Dynamic DNS system for easier setup of remote monitoring, support for more network cameras, and bug fixes.
SecuritySpy can be downloaded and tested free of charge for 30 days before purchasing. Pricing is in British Pounds, Euros or US Dollars and depends on the number of simultaneous cameras used, ranging from 29.90 (approx. $50) for the single-camera version, to 499.00 (approx. $800) for the unlimited-camera version.
