[prMac.com] Fishers, Indiana - Daze End Software today is pleased to announce its new task manager, Benjamin, in the iPhone App Store. Based on the FranklinCovey method of time management, Benjamin is built specifically to allow FranklinCovey adherents to replace their Franklin Planner with an iPhone. Benjamin stores its user's master task list, daily task lists, projects, and daily notes for easy mobile access without the need to carry a heavy binder.
"Every year thousands of people attend training to learn how to use the FranklinCovey system with their Franklin Planner," said Charles Perry, owner of Daze End Software. "Up until now though, using the FranklinCovey system has meant carrying a heavy binder and moving around bits of paper every month. Benjamin removes that need, and allows its users to combine the power of the FranklinCovey system with the portability of their iPhone."
Benjamin has all the features that one would expect in a task manager such as searchable task lists and support for projects, but Benjamin also includes many features that are specific to the FranklinCovey system and not found in other task managers. According to Perry, "Benjamin allows users to organize their tasks using the ABC-123 priority system by simply dragging and dropping their tasks to new locations. Benjamin also makes it easy to move tasks between lists and to cross-reference notes with their related tasks."
One feature in particular that is bound to attract those that use a Franklin Planner is Benjamin's History view. This view gives the user a calendar-like view that can be used to see exactly what was accomplished on any particular day. The History view makes it easy for users to document their productivity, and maybe even justify their raise.
