[prMac.com] New York, New York - Noodlesoft is proud to announce the availability of Hazel 3 for Mac OS X. Hazel 3 adds numerous features, improvements and fixes.
Hazel 3 features a revamped engine making it more powerful than ever while using fewer resources. Hazel will now pick up more file changes, more quickly. The new engine also allows for rules to be schedulable, allowing you to have rules that only trigger at certain times, certain days or certain months. Rule conditions are now more flexible as they can be nested and even be targeted at files related to the file being matched, such as its parent folder or subfiles.
Hazel 3 also introduces two new actions: Sync and Import into Aperture. Sync allows you to mirror one folder to another while the new Aperture feature allows you to seamlessly import photos in your Aperture folders and projects. In addition, Hazel 3 contains significant user interface improvements and bug fixes.
Existing registered users can upgrade for $10. Those who purchased after Nov 11, 2011 will get a free upgrade.
Hazel is a housekeeper for your folders and files. Using Hazel's powerful rule engine, you can easily create workflows that keep your files organized automatically. Hazel also features options for managing your Trash and includes an intuitive application uninstaller.
