presenterCue Free on OS X-Pro App Displays Each Speaker's Remaining Time

in Software (E)

[] Wehr, Germany - Nominari today is pleased to announce presenterCue, its free app for Mac OS X that lets users input the name of each scheduled speaker onto a control panel and display each speaker's remaining time during his or her presentation. Designed as a server/client system, its digital timer/clock and color-coded prompter outputs to large LCDs, downstage monitors, prompter displays, and switching systems, and the server app can also feed wireless clients via Bonjour, including iOS and OS X devices. Both server and client apps are free and fully operational, but a paid license is necessary to unlock the wireless networking feature.

Feature Highlights:
* Countdown for speakers, presenters, or shows
* Ideal for conferences, meetings, presentations, debates, and TV production
* Unlimited presets, each one with 2 possible warning times, cost per/hour, and speaking time
* 12 presets for text messages
* Color-coded visualization of the running time on the bottom of the screen
* Adding and subtracting time, while the countdown is running
* "TimeShift" for adjusting the running time against the real time ( +/- 25%)
* Flashing screen, when all time has elapsed
* Displays seconds and minutes running over the allotted time
* Displays "cost per minute" when the speaker goes into overtime
* Multiple synchronous displays over a network - even on the iPhone or iPad
* Monitor timing onstage, backstage, from the audience, or in the booth

Speaker Timers, in hardware and software, are invaluable for giving presenters live, continuous feedback on their remaining time. presenterCue is a simple but useful tool, which can be easily implemented by organizers, stage managers, technical directors, producers, and directors. Its simple interface allows fast setup, it is designed for use with a touchscreen, and it gives producers and crews the ability to run a conference, meeting, or presentation on schedule. Its great advantage is that it is a software-only solution that is compatible with wireless iOS and OS X devices.

Jens Lampe of Nominari explains, "The presenterCue server is where the magic happens. Save text messages, control the countdown time, and setup some presets - you're done. The dark user interface protects your eyes in the booth, its buttons and displays are clearly laid out, and the main functions can be controlled with a touch screen. All clients will connect automatically, if networking is turned on. With three different client versions, nearly every setup is possible. Place an iPad on the lectern, keep an iPhone for your own use, and connect a MacMini to a confidence monitor on stage, or run the Mac Client locally to connect a second display. All wireless clients connect automatically via Bonjour to the server - no setup needed."

System Requirements:
* OS X 10.8 or later
* 64-bit processor
* 1.4 MB
